In July 2019, Tiffany and her husband lost their son when they were 36 weeks pregnant. The couple was devastated but they knew that they wanted to have another child together. The couple’s fertility doctor gave them the green light to start trying to conceive on September of the same year. Read on to learn more about Tiffany’s unique trying to conceive story and how Mira helped her to go through challenges.
Tiffany’s Experience With Other Fertility Products
Both Tiffany and her partner have extremely hectic schedules, which made it even more challenging for the couple to get pregnant. They worked closely with their fertility doctor to figure out their options.
Along with recommendations from their friends, the couple tried to use traditional ovulation sticks. For the uninitiated, traditional ovulation sticks are supposed to tell you when you are most likely to conceive if you have intercourse and can help you get pregnant faster.
However, Tiffany found that the ovulation sticks were confusing and often provided information that did not seem accurate.
Therefore, Tiffany decided to invest quite a significant sum of money on an ovulation tracking bracelet—a device used to identify both the opening and closing of the fertile window, letting you know your five best days to try for a baby. Unfortunately, the bracelet, despite its price, was also not able to provide Tiffany with accurate or useful information.
Discovering Mira
Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Tiffany researched long and hard for a fertility product that would work for her. She chanced upon Mira on her search and decided to give it a try.
Tiffany particularly loved that Mira—unlike other fertility products—was able to show her actual numbers. She could also use the Mira App to view details about her cycle. Because of Mira’s concise and detailed information, Tiffany was able to find out that her ovulation was not consistent—she was ovulating earlier than she had expected.
Even while using Mira, Tiffany continued wearing her fertility bracelet, only to realize that the information provided by the latter was never in sync with the reliably accurate information reflected on the Mira App.
With the issue pointed out, Tiffany was able to communicate with her doctor more effectively to understand what was going on. They were then able to deliberate on the possible ways to fix it.
Life After Finding Mira
After using Mira for a couple of months, Tiffany was able to identify and fix the issues that served as obstacles to her trying to conceive journey. The couple got pregnant just one month after and are expecting twins in April of 2021!
For Those Out There Who Are Trying…
When Tiffany and her husband lost their son in 2019, they used his legacy to spread awareness of pregnancy and the challenges that come along with it. Tiffany was also able to seek support from groups of women who were going through the same thing.
Today, Tiffany wishes to share with women who are trying to conceive that even though the process can be exhausting and frustrating, it is important to keep in mind that you are not alone in it. There are many women out there that are going through exactly what you are going through. Do not give up, even when you want to, and always be open to new information and ideas.
Closing off, Tiffany shared “I kept searching for more information, and that’s how I found Mira. I am very thankful I did.”
